Around Piazza Mincio; the entrance is the big arch on Via Dora

Walk under the big arch and the mood changes. A building with a spider on it, a little villa that nods to Florence, Rome and Venice, and carvings and paintings on every wall. In the middle of Piazza Mincio sits a fountain with twelve frogs. There is no ticket and no queue, and a loop takes about half an hour. It sits just off the usual routes, so apart from a few people taking photos it stays quiet.
