A pedestrian street whose building walls are covered in giant murals; by day it's the neighbourhood's clothes-and-gadgets high street. Around 7pm the stalls light up and it turns into something else: squid sizzling on griddles, the whiff of stinky tofu, skewer smoke, people wandering about with beer in plastic bags. Visitors queue at a guobaorou (sweet-and-sour pork) shop with a pink sign. It's 15 minutes' walk from the beer museum, so most people pair the two.
