The street outside the Tsingtao brewery (brewing since 1903) and its museum is one long beer strip. Bars line up beside the red-brick factory, and everyone poses at the giant beer-bottle sculpture. Many places pour unfiltered yuanjiang beer straight from the tank, with spicy clams and skewers on the side. There's also a 'beer exchange' where you order by QR and pour your own, and prices tick up and down with demand like a stock board.
