The official site traces the place to 1499, when a maltster bought the house. The draw is the house 13° dark lager, which lands on the table before anything else. With nine halls it's a big operation: you'll often share a long wooden table with strangers, and evenings get loud. On the menu in use since January 2026, 0.4 l of dark beer is 99 Kč, roast knuckle (600 g) 389 Kč, goulash and svíčková 309 Kč. The shots of Becherovka that waiters carry round on trays aren't free: the drinks list says each one goes on the bill at 79 Kč.
