Among the baroque rooflines of the embankment, a glass tower with a pinched waist leans into a concrete one. Frank Gehry and Vlado Milunić designed it in 1996, and the pair look so much like waltzing partners that it got the nickname Ginger and Fred. Up on the roof terrace of the Glass Bar on the top floor, Prague Castle and Petřín Hill sit straight across the river, and at sunset the sun drops behind the castle. The rest of the building is offices and a hotel, so the facade and the roof are the whole show.
