The name says Malá Strana, but it's actually in Smíchov, south-west across the river, near Anděl on Metro B. A tram from the door gets you to Charles Bridge and the Old Town in about 15 minutes, and big supermarkets such as Tesco are close for water and snacks. Rooms are small but have a good built-in wardrobe and a table, and the shower is separate. It's the fallback when Old Town prices bite.
