A big mall in the middle of Patong, handy for escaping the midday heat or a downpour. There's a Big C supermarket inside where dried mango, snacks and coconut oil go at supermarket prices, plus a tax-refund counter. Next door, Banzaan is a wet market selling fish and fruit by day; in the evening, skewer, fruit and seafood stalls spread out around it. Shop, eat at the market, then drift over to Bangla Road: that's the standard Patong evening.
