Patong, Kathu: runs inland from Thaweewong (Beach) Road towards Jungceylon

By day it's an ordinary road. In the evening it closes to traffic and live bars and clubs on both sides start blasting at once. Visitors from everywhere wander under the neon with beers in hand, and every doorway has someone calling out happy hour, massage or shows. It's less Thailand than international party strip. Plenty of people just walk it once without drinking, and it stays loud late into the night.
