A long country road through Nong Prue ends at the elephant pens. The big show starts around 2:30pm, with elephants painting, playing instruments and showing off their strength. Kids laugh loudest at feeding time, when a trunk plucks bananas and sugarcane from their hands. Since it offers rides and performances, animal-welfare minded travellers are divided on it.
