Beside the lion-guarded Naniwabashi bridge in Kitahama, this café fills a building from the basement to the third floor, plus a terrace out over the water. From the terrace you look straight across the Tosabori River to Nakanoshima Park. The homemade custard pudding (¥400) is the draw, usually ordered with a coffee. Seats are limited and lines often form before opening, so make it your first stop of the day.
