This 29th Street bar, attached to the ground floor of a hotel, is the size of a one-person café, and commuting New Yorkers queue for takeaway cups. It roasts its own directly sourced beans, and many visitors buy bags as gifts. The latte gets the most praise; take it into the hotel lobby or over to Madison Square Park. Plenty of people pair it with breakfast at nearby Ess-a-Bagel.
