The park sits on planter-shaped pillars driven into the Hudson, rolled into hills and lawns. Cross the entrance bridge and the path climbs, and every turn swings the view of the river and the West Side skyline a little. The lawn at the top is where people lie facing the sunset, and the small outdoor stages host free shows on some days. A lap takes about an hour, which makes it an easy add-on after the High Line.
