Opened in 2020 as the first international luxury brand in central Nara, with 158 rooms including 16 suites. It sits in a new district next to the prefectural convention centre, so the view is more new town than ancient capital. Inside, though, there's an indoor pool, sauna, spa and executive lounge, enough to make a day of the hotel itself. There's even a morning yoga class.
