A white 63 m Port Building stands on the pier right in front of the aquarium. The observation room on the 7th floor sits 53 m up, with the harbor and ships to the south, the Nagoya Station skyline to the north, and on clear days the Suzuka range and Mt. Ontake. Adults pay 300 yen. After the aquarium, stroll the pier and go up near sunset. Summer evening openings and winter illuminations change each year, so check the schedule.
