A golden angel with an olive branch looks down at the Isar from a tall column. Terraced gardens and fountains step down from the base, and from the top the city spreads out. The gold is best near sunset, with the Frauenkirche twin towers in the distance for the classic frame. It is a step away from the centre, so it stays fairly quiet.
