A long-running Milanese trattoria on a broad avenue east of the centre, well away from the Duomo crowd. The card sticks to Lombard standards: saffron risotto, veal cutlet, fried calf brain. Service still runs the old way, plates carried by waiters who know the room. Booking by phone is the normal route for both lunch and dinner.
