The bakery the New York Times called possibly the best croissant in the world. The Fitzroy original is a raw concrete space built around a big glass room where you watch the dough rolled, folded and baked. Traditional croissant, almond, pain au chocolat, kouign-amann and the muffin-tin cruffin. People report 40-minute waits at the CBD Russell St shop; the Fitzroy line is usually much shorter.
