Toyo means soy sauce in Tagalog, and the restaurant holds one MICHELIN star in the 2026 guide. Every ingredient is Philippine-grown, the kitchen does its own fermenting and pickling, and soy, vinegar and fish sauce do the balancing. Its best-known plate gathers the 18 vegetables from the folk song 'Bahay Kubo'. It sits in a lane of converted warehouses at Karrivin Plaza, so part of the fun is finding the lit doorway at night.
