Look for the dark wood front with gold lettering on Calle Mayor. Founded in 1855, reputedly by the queen's pastry cook, it keeps its dark wooden cabinets and marble counter. The signature is pastas del Consejo, small biscuits said to have been served at royal council meetings. There's a little salon at the back for hot chocolate or tea. Much calmer than La Mallorquina.
