Englishman Andrew Stow opened this bakery in Coloane Village in 1989. His reworking of the Portuguese pastel de nata took off, and the 'Macau egg tart' was born. Flaky layered pastry, custard with a scorched top. There are branches in Cotai and Taipa, but eating one hot out of the oven on a quiet village lane is still best at the original.
