The gold lotus-shaped tower you see from anywhere on the peninsula is this hotel. It opened in 2008 with 431 rooms, far fewer than the Cotai resorts. MICHELIN-listed restaurants sit inside and the lobby is always busy. The big draw is walking to Senado Square and the Ruins of St Paul's.
