It's a theme park and a working film studio at once. The signature Studio Tour takes a tram through real backlot sets: a crashed jumbo jet, a street that floods on cue, a 3D King Kong encounter. The park splits into an Upper Lot and a Lower Lot joined by very long escalators; up top are the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Super Nintendo World, the Simpsons and the WaterWorld show, down below the Jurassic World ride and Revenge of the Mummy. Lines are often shorter than at Universal Japan, and plenty of visitors say a weekday is doable on a standard ticket.
