The Grove is an open-air mall dressed up like a small European town: a lawn in the middle, a fountain that dances to music, and a green double-decker trolley rolling slowly between the shops and the market next door. The Original Farmers Market has been going since the 1930s; under its white clock tower, dozens of stalls (doughnuts, tacos, gumbo, Korean food and more) crowd narrow aisles, perfect for buying a bit of everything and sharing. After dark the string lights come on and it turns into a pleasant evening stroll.
