Walk out onto the terrace behind the white triple-domed Art Deco building and the whole LA grid spreads out to the ocean, with the Hollywood Sign small on the ridge to your left. As the sun drops, downtown lights up first and then the grid fills in with orange dots. The planetarium where the couple dance in La La Land is this building, and on clear nights the rooftop telescopes are free to look through. Getting in costs nothing; you only pay for parking and planetarium shows.
