Christopher Wren built this after the Great Fire, and the first thing you notice inside is the floor pattern under a dome 30 metres wide. Whisper against the wall of the Whispering Gallery that rings the dome and someone on the far side can hear you. Keep climbing to the Stone Gallery and the Golden Gallery at the very top, and the Thames and the City towers spread out below. The crypt holds the tombs of Nelson and the Duke of Wellington.
