An Indian restaurant styled on the Irani cafés of 1960s Bombay: ceiling fans, sepia photos, chequered floors. It's the place that makes many visitors admit the best thing they ate in England was curry. Evening queues are long, but staff hand out free chai while you wait. Mornings belong to the bacon naan roll.
