Tucked into a Chiado side street, this is where José Avillez rewrites Portuguese cooking one plate at a time. It holds two Michelin stars and a meal runs two to three hours. The tasting menu is served to whole tables only, but you can order a la carte instead. There is no vegetarian menu, though the kitchen adapts the tasting one. Dinner tables fill weeks ahead.
