Lower Antelope is a slot you climb down into by ladder. Light slants between wave-carved red sandstone walls and the colour shifts from orange to violet as you turn. You can only go in with a Navajo guide, who will take phone photos for you at each spot. Fifteen minutes away, Horseshoe Bend is a short walk from the car park to a cliff edge where the Colorado River loops back on itself.
