Gion Tsujiri, a tea merchant founded in Uji in 1860, opened this café in 1978. The ground floor sells tea and gifts; floors two and three are the café. The headline is the Tokusen Tsujiri parfait: matcha ice cream, matcha jelly, red bean, shiratama dumplings and castella in layers. Order via a QR code with a multilingual menu. The parfait line runs up the stairs; the ground-floor matcha soft-serve line is separate.
