Address
The pale-blue Art Deco building, with more stalls along Kasturi Walk beside it

It opened as a wet market in 1888; the current building is 1930s Art Deco. Inside the pale-blue shell, in blessed air-conditioning, stalls sell batik, songket weaving, woodcarving, pewter and dried tropical fruit. It's calmer than Petaling Street and the sales pressure is lower, so it's an easier place for souvenirs. When your feet give out, the upstairs food court is good for a cheap meal.
