Stalls pack a single lot in a tight grid, so instead of Liuhe's single street you wander a maze of narrow lanes. Food alternates with carnival games, clothes and odds and ends; it feels like where the neighbourhood comes after dinner. The aisles are tight and weekends mean shoulder-to-shoulder shuffling, but that's the fun of it. Most people find it cheaper than Liuhe too.
