At the end of a pine-shaded path you look over the cliff and there it is: a single rock pillar standing in the sea, a few stubborn pines on its head like a tuft of hair. The path is part of Jeju Olle Trail 7, so after the rock you can keep walking west along the cliffs to the Dombenang path and views of Beomseom island. Best when the sea goes orange around Munseom and Beomseom at sunset.
