From the ticket office it's a flat ten-minute walk up a gorge of subtropical forest, fat carp idling in the stream, until a white column of water drops between cliffs into a deep pool. It stays open until 10pm with the path lit, so it works as an after-dinner stroll. The roar is louder than you'd expect, especially the day after rain.
