Sail up the strait linking the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara with Europe on one side and Asia on the other. Dolmabahçe Palace, the Ortaköy Mosque under the bridge, waterfront wooden mansions (yalı) and Rumeli Fortress go by in turn. There are three ways to do it: the city ferry company's six-hour long tour is cheap and stops for lunch at a village near the Black Sea; private boats from Eminönü do a short loop of about an hour and a half; and a sunset or dinner cruise booked through an app is the most popular option.
