Departs from the canal landing behind Interlaken West station

Out of the narrow canal behind Interlaken West the lake suddenly opens up, and the snowy Jungfrau trails behind you. The boat calls at lakeside villages, passing storybook Spiez Castle and Oberhofen Castle, which seems to float on the water. Ride all the way to Thun and it's a bit over two hours; with a coffee on the deck it goes quickly. Plenty of people hop off at Spiez for the castle and vineyards and take the train back.
