A timber chalet-style room on the main drag by Interlaken West. In the evening there's alphorn and a folk show, so you get the full Swiss postcard in one sitting. Cheese fondue, fondue chinoise (meat dipped in hot broth), rösti and schnitzel are all on one menu. The website comes in several Asian languages, which tells you who eats here. Touristy, yes, but an easy first-night taste of Swiss food.
