A combo plate arrives with kalua pig, laulau and lomi salmon, plus poi if you want it. This is the Kakaako branch of a family kitchen that started in Waipahu in 1947, and the laulau are wrapped by hand in leaves before steaming. The pork is shredded by hand, salty and smoky. If you want the whole traditional Hawaiian spread in one sitting, this is the easy place to do it.
