Five 1960s apartment blocks are joined in a U, so when you stand in the courtyard and look up, every surface is tiny windows, air-con units and laundry, with the sky cut down to a square. It became a photo spot after appearing in Transformers: Age of Extinction. People still live here: signs at the entrance ask visitors to seek permission before shooting, and the raised spots people used to climb for photos are now fenced off. You reach the courtyard through a narrow passage between the ground-floor shops.
