A cha chaan teng that began as a street stall on Gage Street in 1952. It's credited with popularising Hong Kong milk tea, strained repeatedly through a cloth bag for strength; the stained bag looks like a stocking, hence 'silk stocking milk tea'. The old stall's metal frame still stands out front, and inside it's a cramped two floors of shared tables. Kaya French toast and pork chop buns are the other big orders.
