The village that grows the lettuce, basil, coriander and other herbs that end up in Hoi An's kitchens. Neat beds run on and on, and farmers walk the rows with two watering cans hanging from a shoulder pole. When the breeze picks up the whole field smells of herbs. Most people just cycle through, but several operators run tours where you put on a conical hat, hoe a bed, plant seedlings and then cook with what you've picked.
