A stall run by the same man for over twenty years, down a lane east of the Old Town. Wide turmeric rice noodles come with pork, shrimp and quail eggs and only a shallow splash of broth. Crush in the rice cracker and peanuts, toss with the herbs, and it's nutty and savoury. Cao lầu is the same price.
