A big two-storey timber merchant house near the river, used entirely as a museum. Looms, farm tools, musical instruments and wedding gear fill the rooms, so you see how Hoi An people worked, dressed and played. Some days there are craft demonstrations. The view down into the courtyard and over the roof tiles from upstairs is better than you'd expect. There's a lot to see, so allow 30 to 40 minutes.
