Address
From the Al Fahidi district and the Old Souk abra station in Bur Dubai, cross the creek by boat to the Spice Souk in Deira, with the Gold Souk just behind

Through the earth-toned lanes and wind towers of Al Fahidi you reach the jetty, where chugging wooden abras ferry packed loads of people across the creek. Five minutes on the water lands you in Deira at the Spice Souk, with sacks of saffron, dried limes and frankincense stacked outside the shops; a few turns later every window in the Gold Souk is blazing with necklaces. No towers here, just traders calling out and the smell of spices: Dubai's older face.
