Address
A waterfront promenade of a kilometre or so on the west bank of the creek, joining the Al Fahidi district at its northern end

Rough ochre walls, coral-stone blocks, wooden balconies and wind towers line the creek. It's built to echo the old pearling and trading town, with a heritage section that flows into a neater stretch of shops and cafés. The water keeps appearing between the lanes, with abras and wooden dhows passing, so every corner works as a backdrop. A mud-house-style Starbucks and a kunafa dessert shop draw photo queues.
