A Chicago popcorn shop since 1949, famous for the Garrett Mix (aka Chicago Mix): sweet CaramelCrisp and salty CheeseCorn tossed in one bag. There are branches in other countries now, but people still make the trip to the Michigan Avenue shop for it fresh from the kettle. Inside you can watch caramel being tumbled in copper kettles, and the sugary smell drifts out onto the street.
