Hiroshi Sawada, a Japanese barista and latte-art champion, opened his first US shop here. It is attached to the barbecue joint Green Street Smoked Meats, so you collect your coffee in a faint haze of smoke. Out back there are picnic benches and stadium-style seating where people set up laptops. The green tea latte is the drink most often singled out.
