Finished in 1910, the house stretches low and long, its roof planes and brick bands echoing the prairie horizon. It is Frank Lloyd Wright's clearest statement of the Prairie style. You get inside only on a guided tour, where the rows of leaded-glass windows and the fireplace-centred living room are the draw. The second floor is not wheelchair accessible.
