The white marble hall dates to the 1893 World's Fair. Downstairs, the German submarine U-505, captured in WWII, sits whole, and a separately ticketed tour lets you walk its cramped insides. The main floors hold a real steam locomotive and aircraft. The hands-on exhibits can eat a full day with kids. It is now called the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry, so search maps under either name.
