A late-19th-century teak house once used by the Borneo Company was restored and opened as a hotel in 2011; it's named for the 137 pillars holding it up. All 30 rooms are suites, many with big terraces and outdoor tubs. The pool with its living green wall is all over Instagram, and afternoon tea in the old house pulls in people who aren't even staying. It's quiet because it sits a little apart from the action, which also means calling a car for most outings.
