An old shop that started with douhua, soft tofu pudding, and now lays out a full Chengdu breakfast: dan dan noodles, sweet-water noodles and Zhong dumplings. The dan dan noodles come dry; you toss up the chilli oil, peanuts and minced pork at the bottom, while the thick, chewy tianshuimian are sweet, salty and hot at once. A spread of several bowls runs around ¥30, so locals pack in and share tables every morning. It opens at 7:30, perfect before a panda-base trip.
